Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented BESS Design Engineer to join our Engineering and Energy Storage Solutions team in Lahore. In this role, you will design technically reliable and commercially competitive Battery Energy Storage System solutions for commercial, industrial, utility-scale, renewable-energy, EV-charging, backup-power, and microgrid applications. You will work closely with sales, procurement, project management, and installation teams to translate customer needs into optimized system designs and accurate project estimates.
What You Will Do
The ideal candidate will analyse electrical load data, assess backup and grid-interaction requirements, and size battery capacity, PCS power, and associated electrical infrastructure. You will prepare single-line diagrams, system layouts, BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates while ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, utility, and Pakistani regulatory standards.

- Design AC-coupled and DC-coupled BESS solutions for diverse energy applications.
- Select batteries, inverters/PCS, EMS, BMS, transformers, switchgear, protection, HVAC, and fire-suppression equipment.
- Prepare technical proposals, tender documents, and commercial comparisons.
- Estimate project costs, savings, ROI, and payback for customer presentations.
- Support site surveys, commissioning, and handover activities.
