We deliver website design & development, web apps, mobile apps, CMS solutions (WordPress, Webflow, headless), cloud services on AWS/Azure/GCP, SEO & content writing, UI/UX design, SaaS development, and custom AI solutions.

We're a growing startup hiring a Business Developer hybrid in Lahore to drive new business through Upwork. You'll search for relevant projects, craft tailored proposals, and manage follow-ups — with support from leadership on pricing, scope, and fit. Ideal if you have 0–2 years on Upwork or similar platforms and want hands-on experience selling a full-service digital studio.

What you'll do

• Search Upwork daily for jobs aligned with Kodbase services: websites, web apps, mobile apps, CMS, cloud/DevOps, SEO & content, UI/UX, SaaS, and AI/LLM work.
• Write clear, personalized proposals that match each brief and highlight the right Kodbase capabilities.
• Submit bids with appropriate connects, timing, and pricing — aligned with guidance from leadership.
• Follow up on proposals and respond to client messages promptly and professionally.
• Track bids, replies, and calls in a shared sheet or CRM with regular updates.
• Flag strong opportunities, help gather scope details, and coordinate with the delivery team before discovery calls.
  
  

What we're looking for

• 0–2 years bidding on Upwork or similar freelance platforms (personal or agency profile experience counts).
• Based in Lahore or able to work hybrid from our Lahore office on a regular schedule.
• Excellent written English — proposals are the core of this role.
• Ability to recognize project types across web, mobile, design, CMS, cloud, SEO, SaaS, or AI — even at a high level.
• Organized and consistent — you can maintain a daily bidding rhythm and keep trackers up to date.
• Reliable with follow-through on messages, updates, and deadlines.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Upwork connects, boosts, and proposal best practices.
• Background bidding for a dev shop, agency, or software studio.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, React, Next.js, mobile apps, SaaS, or AI project scopes.
• Sample proposals or a track record of landed Upwork contracts.
