  • Develop and execute category strategies for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) to drive sales growth, market share, and profitability across Alibaba International’s global retail platforms.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization, pricing, and promotional planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, supply chain, vendor management, and data analytics—to implement category initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage relationships with key brand partners and suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and align on joint business plans to achieve mutual growth objectives.
  • Monitor and report on category performance using KPIs such as GMV, conversion rate, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction; leverage insights to refine strategies and improve operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, trade marketing, or commercial planning within the FMCG industry, preferably with exposure to e-commerce or omnichannel retail environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience translating data into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English.
