Job Title: Channel Manager – Out of Home

Scope: Local

Location: Karachi Head Office

Terms: Full-time

The role

The Channel Manager is responsible for ensuring development in the Out of Home channel by identifying and converting market opportunities into sales. Lead market development activities and planning & execution of channel development activities. Develop and execute strategy and business plan with the customers and responsible for the achievement of Sales (NIV and Turnover), Market Share and the Profit and Lost (P&L) of their accounts as well as for the implementation and the optimization of the strategies within the customer.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across Catering, HoReCa, and Ice Cream Parlours, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
  • Design, negotiate, and execute highly profitable commercial agreements, annual contracts, margin structures, and volume commitments.
  • Oversee the channel’s financial health, managing discounting budgets, trade spends, and pricing strategies to achieve top-line and bottom-line targets.
  • Map the food services ecosystem to identify, pitch, and onboard high-value accounts and premium accounts.
  • Formulate and execute robust Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies tailored specifically to the unique operational needs of chefs, caterers, and parlour owners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and R&D to design the ideal product portfolio mix (e.g., bulk packs for catering, artisanal/premium lines for high-end HoReCa, topping/mix-in solutions).
  • Partner with culinary/culinary-art teams to introduce innovative ice cream applications, dessert menu integrations, and customized flavor solutions for premium clients.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to design and monitor the logistics and equipment placement strategy (e.g., branded freezers, display cabinets) ensuring product integrity at the point of consumption.
  • Design and deliver capability development programs for the extended sales and distribution teams, focusing on B2B consultative selling techniques.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the extended team to track account acquisition rates, order frequency, and execution compliance.
  • Actively track competitor pricing, product launches, and contractual structures within the B2B food services space.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree, 3-4 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG/Snacking is preferred
  • Is able to negotiate with customers, manage multiple stakeholders and lead teams
  • Is high on objective rigor where efforts are focused towards a business target pegged to key priorities and market realities
  • Is up to date with technology advancements globally and leverages it in their area
  • Thinks big & can influence stakeholders to accept difficult changes
  • Has excellent communication skills and team working ability at all levels
  • Effective interpersonal skills and organisational awareness
