Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) Peshawar is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Kidney Transplant Surgeon to lead renal transplant services. The selected candidate will work under a contract appointment and will be responsible for performing kidney transplant surgeries and overseeing patient management in a recognized renal transplant unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform kidney transplant surgeries with full pre- and post-operative care.
• Supervise and manage renal transplant unit operations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and international clinical standards.
• Train junior doctors and provide expert clinical guidance.
• Participate in hospital meetings, reporting, and audits.
  
  

Requirements

• MBBS from a recognized institution.
• FCPS (Urology) OR Board Certified OR CCST (UK/Ireland).
• Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in a recognized renal transplant unit.
• Strong surgical expertise in renal transplantation.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and clinical management skills.
