Role Description
The Data Annotation Specialist – Generalist is a full-time remote role responsible for reviewing, labeling, and categorizing data across multiple domains to support machine learning and AI projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting project guidelines, annotating text, images, and other data types with high accuracy, and verifying the work of peers to maintain quality standards. The specialist will collaborate with project managers and client teams to clarify requirements, contribute to process improvements, and meet productivity and quality targets. This role also involves documenting edge cases, identifying patterns or issues in datasets, and providing feedback to enhance annotation tools and workflows.
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately review, label, and categorize diverse data types (e.g., text, images, structured data) according to detailed guidelines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret instructions, handle edge cases, and maintain consistency across annotations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks while sustaining high quality.
- Comfort working with online annotation platforms, spreadsheets, and productivity tools; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with distributed teams and document findings or issues clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines and productivity targets.
- Experience with data annotation, data entry, quality assurance, or related operations roles is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or IT and cybersecurity domains is a plus but not required.
- Post-secondary education from the reputable university
- Practical experience in a relevant field (e.g., information technology, data science, linguistics, or related discipline) preferred.

What We Offer
· One-Week Paid Training Pay: Rs.500/Hour
· Pay After Training: Rs. 150,000 (First 2 months). Rs. 200,000 (After 3 months)
· Number of Hours: 40 hours / week
· Fully remote work in Pakistan
· 3 Emergency Unpaid Days Off
· 3 Medical Unpaid Days off
