Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines and stream processing systems
- Develop scripts and applications using Python, Spark, and SQL
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and shell scripts
- Work with big data querying tools and distributed data systems
- Implement and maintain cloud‑based data solutions on Azure or AWS
- Manage large datasets using Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues with minimal supervision
- Ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
- Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience working with Apache Spark and big data processing frameworks
- Advanced SQL and data query optimization skills
- Experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience with Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- 2–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Development
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Certification or training in Data Lake HDFS, Big Data, or Cloud Data Engineering is a plus
