Role description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development. The ideal candidate should have experience with Engagement Messenger, including conversational experiences and digital engagement capabilities. Candidates with strong expertise in Customer Service Management (CSM) and Virtual Agent will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions using Engagement Messenger, CSM, and Virtual Agent.
Build and customize conversational experiences, chat interfaces, and self-service workflows.
Develop Virtual Agent topics, conversations, integrations, and automation workflows.
Configure and enhance CSM applications to improve customer engagement and service delivery.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
Create and maintain client scripts, business rules, UI actions, Flow Designer flows, and catalogs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Required Skills
5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
Experience with Engagement Messenger (preferred).
Strong experience in ServiceNow CSM (Customer Service Management).
Hands-on experience with Virtual Agent development and configuration.
Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
Understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices and SDLC processes.

Preferred Skills
ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).
ServiceNow CIS-CSM certification.
Experience with AI-powered conversational solutions and chatbots.
Knowledge of ITSM and related ServiceNow modules.

Nice to Have
Experience with Agent Workspace.
Knowledge of Now Assist / Generative AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
Experience working in Agile environments.
