Estimation & Design Intern

LantroTech offers an exciting internship opportunity for motivated engineering students or recent graduates to join our Estimation & Design (E&D) team. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in electrical estimating, bidding, and design within the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of electrical/IT cost estimates and material take-offs.
• Support the interpretation of electrical drawings and specifications.
• Aid in the collection and analysis of vendor/subcontractor quotes.
• Participate in the creation of budgets, scope letters, and shop drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD and estimation software to support design and documentation processes.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities under the guidance of other team members.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in the third year or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical systems and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with estimation tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) is a plus.
• Familiarity with project documentation, maintenance, and compliance.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
• A proactive and eager attitude towards learning and contributing within a dynamic team setting.
