Estimation Engineer

Our client Qadbros Engineering is seeking a dedicated Estimation Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our projects by developing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review inquiries received from local and export business segments.
• Coordinate with the estimation team to clarify technical requirements and drawings.
• Prepare and issue RFQs with complete specifications and drawings.
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and ensure timely responses.
• Compare vendor quotations based on cost, quality, delivery, and technical requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and highlight potential cost risks.
• Verify material specifications and scope of supply in vendor quotations.
• Support project costing by providing accurate and validated pricing information.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets and obtain approvals from concerned departments.
• Maintain confidentiality by sharing drawings without disclosing customer identity.
• Coordinate with vendors and visit them when required to resolve technical queries.
• Monitor estimation accuracy by comparing estimated and actual project costs.
• Maintain complete records and traceability of inquiries and quotations in Excel.
