Pak-Arab Refinery Limited Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Role Purpose
Support Parco Finance, treasury and employee fund investment management, assess group companies’ financial and strategic performance, and deliver analytical insights, leadership presentations and dashboards to support informed decision-making.
Qualification:
Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a BBA, BS or B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline, from an HEC-recognized university. MBA and/or professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA or ICMA will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investment management: Analyse investment opportunities in Pakistan’s debt capital markets, including Treasury Bills, Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs) and Term Finance Certificates (TFCs). Recommend portfolio allocations and monitor returns, liquidity, credit quality and interest rate exposure within approved investment policies. Maintain documentation, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure highest governance standards.
- Group performance analysis: Evaluate group companies’ profitability trends, financial performance, business drivers and strategic initiatives. Identify emerging risks, growth opportunities and performance gaps through financial modelling, peer comparisons and scenario analysis. Prepare consolidated presentation deck for leadership identifying key improvement plans and industry wide comparison.
- Leadership reporting: Prepare compelling, executive-quality presentations and analytical reports using PowerPoint, think-cell and relevant AI tools, translating complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Economic and market intelligence: Monitor domestic and global economic, financial, industry and energy market developments and assess their implications for investment portfolios, group companies and business strategy and preparation of company wide newsletters.
- Financial planning and analytics: Develop and maintain financial models and interactive dashboards using advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other data analytics tools to support budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring. Must be willing to adopt AI into business operations and treasury management.
- Broader finance assignments: Contribute to complex and cross-functional assignments across core finance functions, integrating financial, commercial and strategic considerations to deliver practical recommendations within agreed timelines.
- Collaboration and communication: Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, communicate findings clearly in writing and presentations, and take a proactive, solution-oriented approach to resolving issues and delivering assignments.
- Upto 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, investment management, financial markets or related financial services and analytical roles, with a strong understanding of Pakistan’s financial markets.
- A proven track record of managing employee or treasury fund portfolios of at least PKR 1 billion, with demonstrable success in achieving superior risk-adjusted returns against relevant benchmarks, particularly through T-Bills, PIBs and TFCs.
- Strong analytical aptitude and sound judgement, with the ability to interpret financial statements, assess profitability trends and connect strategic developments with business performance.
- Demonstrated excellence in preparing leadership-level presentations, combining rigorous analysis, clear storytelling and professional visual design.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and think-cell, with practical experience using AI and other analytical tools.
- A keen interest in economic, financial, industry, global macro and energy market developments.
- Ability to work through complex scenarios, manage competing priorities and take ownership of additional assignments across core finance functions.
- Strong teamwork, excellent written and verbal communication, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
