Job Identification
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to be part of our Finance Team in Lahore.
What We Expect
- "Manage timely & accurate filing of tax returns / statements of Income Tax and Sales Tax/FED annually, biannually, quarterly, monthly and weekly for Federal as well as all provincial revenue authorities.
- Finalize input sales tax claims and ensure accurate levy of taxes on the supply of goods of the company based upon the benchmarking with the industry and best business practices.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations of all tax ledgers in financial statements.
- Appropriate follow up for unreconciled items with customers / vendor and charge / settle all outstandings accordingly. Maintain the record of advance tax deducted for incorporation in annual tax return.
- Ensure that you to provide appropriate information against tax audits/enquiries and preparation of replies/information to relevant revenue authorities accordingly.
- Preparation of record relating to changes in price structures and inform the internal customers in timely manner after getting necessary approvals.
- Support to provide timely and accurate information against all tax litigations with tax authorities.
- Finalize the Withholding Tax certificate to Vendors, Distributors & Retailers and share the record with stakeholders for legal compliance.
- Prepare to finalize the required information against queries raised by the internal/external auditors with respect to taxation.
- Ensure smooth & timely monthly closing activities regarding Income Tax, Sales Tax and FED which includes recording of territory wise output tax in system and recording of scrap sales across company.
- Proactive approach to reducing the tax risks associated with manual work through implementation of new tax reports in systems.
- Upgrade the technical knowledge of team and provide personal development opportunities to develop high performance culture.
- Collaborate with all functions for maintaining the record of all contracts and agreements with Distributors, Key Customers and vendors. Records properly achieved and shall furnish upon the requirement from relevant function(s).
- Support Payment/Payable teams to update the with-holding tax applications while recording the transactions and maintain the record of exemption certificate shared by vendors.
- Collaborate with Team leader for smooth running of business and support him for the achievement of collective goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Finance, ACCA, ACA, ACMA or equivalent
- Minimum Total Experience: 4-6 Years
- Minimum Functional Experience: 2-4 Years
