Fundraising Officer

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet financial targets.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Manage and organize fundraising events and activities from conception through to execution and post-event evaluation.
- Research potential donors and funding sources to secure new funding opportunities.
- Prepare detailed fundraising reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration with organizational goals.
- Handle donor correspondence and contribution acknowledgments promptly and accurately.
- Monitor fundraising progress and make necessary adjustments to strategies and activities.

Requirements:

- 1–2 years of experience in a fundraising role or related field.
- Proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and securing donations.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and management systems is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of various fundraising techniques and best practices.
- Ability to attend events and meetings outside of regular business hours when necessary.
- Strong analytical skills to assess fundraising performance and donor data.
