Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Products to lead the Bank’s end-to-end product management function. This role will be responsible for defining and executing a digital-first product strategy across customer onboarding, consumer finance, SME finance, deposits, payments, and digital experiences. The successful candidate will drive product innovation, customer-centric design, portfolio growth, profitability, and the development of fintech and Open Banking partnerships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Shariah requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Bank’s product strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Own and manage the end-to-end product portfolio, including onboarding, consumer finance, SME finance, deposits, and payments.
• Define and manage the enterprise product roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Lead new product development, enhancement, and innovation initiatives.
• Drive digital product transformation and increase customer adoption and engagement.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory, risk, governance, and Shariah requirements.
• Oversee customer onboarding journeys, digital KYC processes, and biometric verification experiences.
• Lead the development of consumer and SME financing propositions and deposit products.
• Champion customer-centric design principles and optimize customer journeys across all touchpoints.
• Oversee UI/UX strategy, design systems, and digital experience enhancements.
• Utilize customer insights, analytics, and market intelligence to drive product decisions.
• Monitor product performance through KPIs, scorecards, and portfolio reviews.
• Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Growth, and Shariah teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Manage fintech partnerships, API integrations, Open Banking initiatives, and ecosystem collaborations.
• Develop business cases and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Experience Required:

• 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple product lines and product teams.
• Strong exposure to digital banking, payments, portfolio management, and customer experience.
• Experience in Islamic banking products will be an added advantage.
• Experience in a digital bank, fintech, or challenger-bank environment is strongly preferred.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent Master’s degree preferred.
