Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public spaces.
- Develop and implement housekeeping schedules and checklists.
- Train and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Officer or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software is a plus.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate or degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety regulations.
