Contour Software is seeking an enthusiastic HR, business or computer science graduate to join the team as an HR Trainee.
The HR Trainee will report to Senior HR Team Members and work closely with senior HR management.
In this role, you will help support the recruitment process by coordinating with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, and managing interviews.
This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys interacting with people, building connections, and contributing to organizational growth through strategic hiring. Along with talent acquisition tasks, you will also assist the HR Team with HR Operations, Employer Branding, and employee engagement activities.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Hiring Managers, Technical Evaluators, and HRBPs to identify staffing needs.
- Develop selection criteria based on job requisitions.
- Conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions.
- Find potential candidates using online platforms and professional networks.
- Organize interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person/online interviews.
- Review candidate information, such as resumes and contact details.
- Build lasting relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- Recommend ways to improve talent acquisition efforts.
- Assist with HR Operations and Employee Relations activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
- Understanding of recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, negotiation, and personnel information systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Stress and time management skills.
- Confidence and ability to influence, including addressing groups.
- Ability to keep data confidential.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including report and policy preparation.
- MS Office skills, especially spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
- Experience with multiple HR Management systems is preferred.
