IFC Draftsman - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a IFC Draftsman in Rawalpindi.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IFC Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D and 3D drawings of construction projects using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all drawings are accurate and up to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using IFC standards for various construction projects.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with IFC protocols.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to gather necessary project details.
- Ensure that all produced drawings meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Utilize CAD software and other drafting tools effectively for creating construction documents.
- Update and modify existing drawings based on feedback from project leaders or clients.
- Organize and maintain a drawing archive for easy access and retrieval.
- Participate in meetings to discuss and resolve design issues.
- Continuously stay updated on IFC standards and industry best practices.

Requirements:

- Proven experience of 3-5 years in a drafting or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site full-time setting.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges in design.

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in CAD or BIM software is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction processes and standards.
- Experience working on-site in a construction or engineering environment is an advantage.
