Junior MEP Engineer - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a Junior MEP Engineer in Rawalpindi.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The candidate will assist with the design, analysis, and implementation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Assist senior engineers in the design and implementation of MEP systems.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure project compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Perform calculations and analyses to determine project specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving MEP-related issues on-site.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Ensure that all work is in line with local codes and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

- 6-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification or licensure as required by local authorities.
- Demonstrated experience in MEP design and implementation.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, NEC, and IPC.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license for on-site visits if required.

Preferred Competencies:

- Experience with sustainable design and energy efficiency practices.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Basic understanding of construction project phases and workflows.
