Import & Export Officer - Hightech Solutions

Our client Hightech Solutions is hiring a Import & Export Officer in Lahore.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the importation and exportation of goods and materials.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customs brokers, logistics providers, and suppliers.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to imports and exports.
- Work with internal teams to align shipping activities with company objectives.
- Monitor shipping and delivery timelines, addressing any discrepancies.
- Negotiate freight contracts and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Address any customs or shipment issues efficiently.
- Keep records of all transactions and prepare reports for management.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in import/export operations or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certification in international trade or customs preferred.
- Proven track record of managing import/export activities effectively.
- Familiarity with customs processes in different countries.
- Ability to work on-site and manage flexible hours as required by shipping schedules.

- Familiar with Incoterms and international shipping practices.
