We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused problem-solver responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees. Responsibilities
Providing first and second-line technical support to all staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving both hardware and software faults.
Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with company policies.
Assisting with the management of IT assets, including inventory tracking and procurement.
Supporting a range of software, including standard office applications and specialised media production tools.
Creating and maintaining clear and concise documentation for IT processes and user guides.
Collaborating with the wider technical team on IT projects and system upgrades.
Ensuring the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an IT support role or a similar technical position.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Excellent understanding of computer networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a logical, methodical approach.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a genuine passion for technology.
Experience supporting software used in the creative or media industry (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud) would be highly advantageous.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple) are desirable but not essential.
