Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in editing engaging video content for digital platforms, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in editing raw footage into polished video content, (Reels, youtube videos, linkedin videos)
- Trim, cut, and arrange video sequences effectively
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements
- Ensure consistency in style, branding, and quality
- Make revisions based on feedback from senior editors or stakeholders
- Organize and manage video files and assets
- Stay updated with editing trends, tools, and techniques
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting settings
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills
- Familiarity with color correction and sound editing
- Knowledge of social media video formats (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing or relevant internships
