PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Management Executive - Strategy, Business Development & Policy.
Candidates with experience or strong interest in energy, infrastructure, renewables, project finance, corporate finance, M&A, consulting, equity research, policy, data analytics, financial modelling or executive presentations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research on energy markets including petroleum products, refining, pipelines, infrastructure, renewables, storage, emerging fuels, policy developments, and macroeconomic trends.
- Prepare concise market intelligence notes, opportunity scans, competitor analysis, and issue briefs for management review.
- Track local and global developments in energy transition, regulatory policy, pricing, tariffs, supply chains, and investment trends.
- Develop financial models, investment screeners, feasibility studies, tariff analysis, sensitivity analysis, and business cases.
- Manage data collection, assumption validation, scenario building, and summarization of financial outputs (IRR, NPV, payback, DSCR, EBITDA impact, tariff implications).
- Develop and maintain data repositories, dashboards, trackers, and periodic reports with strong accuracy and version control.
- Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate research, summarize policies, benchmark companies and sectors using relevant data points, prepare draft analyses, clean datasets, and improve productivity.
- Develop simple analytical tools, dashboards, or automation using Excel, Power BI, Python, generative AI tools, or similar analytics platforms.
- Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, memos, dashboards, and briefing notes for internal committees, senior management and selected external stakeholders.
- Translate complex data, financial outputs, and policy issues into clear, concise, decision-ready insights.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Marketing & Commercial, Finance, Legal, Technical, Operations, Procurement, HSE, and external stakeholders including government agencies, advisors and consultants.
- Track project milestones, action items, approvals, meeting notes, and follow-ups to ensure timely execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution OR Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, ACCA, FRM, PMP, or equivalent
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, Energy Economics or related field will be preferred.
- Strong academic record from a reputable institution and demonstrated interest in strategy, energy, infrastructure, finance, capital markets, data analytics or policy will be preferred.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably including internships or roles in:
- Strategy, Business development, Investment evaluation, Consulting, Project development, Transaction advisory, Data analytics, Regulatory policy or Energy/infrastructure-related roles.
- Strong internships, academic projects, investment research competitions, financial modelling projects, dashboards, AI-enabled research workflows, or published analysis will be considered positively.
- Must be comfortable building financial models and reviewing key assumptions, sensitivities, scenario outputs and investment recommendations, with guidance from senior team members.
- Ability to write clear, concise analytical notes and convert research, data and financial outputs into decision-ready slides, memos and dashboards.
- Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and practically for research, analysis, benchmarking, scenario planning and executive reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital productivity platforms
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis concepts, with willingness to develop advanced modelling capability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines
- Curiosity about energy, infrastructure, policy, capital markets, and corporate strategy
- High ownership, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
