Microsoft Dynamics 365 Techno Functional Business Central Consultant

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 07:00 PM PKT (Monday to Friday)

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical development, implementation, integration, and customization of D365 Business Central solutions. You will work closely with functional consultants and end-users to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements, contributing to impactful projects within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC).
• Customize and extend Business Central using AL and extensions.
• Integrate BC with third-party systems and APIs where required.
• Develop and modify reports using RDLC and Word layouts.
• Migrate data from legacy systems to D365 Business Central using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve issues related to development, integration, and system performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and users during the design, development, and deployment phases.
• Maintain source code and documentation according to best practices and company standards.
• Assist in version upgrades and hotfix implementations.
• Provide technical training and support to users and internal teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AL language and Visual Studio Code.
• Solid understanding of Business Central architecture and data structure.
• Experience with APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and integration development.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, C/AL (legacy NAV), and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications related to Business Central are preferred.
