The Oracle EBS Technical Support Consultant will be responsible for providing technical and production support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The role involves troubleshooting application and database issues, supporting customizations and integrations, developing technical objects, performing root-cause analysis, and collaborating with functional consultants and business users to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customizations, interfaces, reports, and workflows.
• Analyze application logs, concurrent programs, database issues, and error messages to identify root causes.
• Monitor and support Oracle EBS integrations with third-party applications and external systems.
• Develop and maintain technical objects, including:
• Reports
• Interfaces
• Conversions
• Extensions
• Workflows
  
• Work closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within agreed SLA timelines.
• Support deployments, patches, testing activities, and production releases.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for enhancements, integrations, and bug fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring technical and application issues.
• Participate in performance tuning, code optimization, and application health monitoring.
• Troubleshoot data migration issues and application errors.
• Support Oracle EBS production environments and AMS (Application Management Services) activities.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS technical architecture.
• Advanced PL/SQL development and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of OAF personalization and customization techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle EBS interfaces and integrations.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database concepts.
• Production support and AMS experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good understanding of application logs, concurrent requests, and database errors.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with functional and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Proven hands-on experience in Oracle EBS technical development and production support.
• Practical experience with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher/XML Publisher.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow, Alerts, Concurrent Processing, and OAF.
• Experience working in production-support or AMS environments.
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS technical architecture and database concepts.
• Experience collaborating with functional consultants and business users to deliver technical solutions.
