Pak-Arab Refinery Limited Assistant Technologist – Pipeline Maintenance Civil

PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Technologist – Pipeline Maintenance Civil.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil repair, maintenance, and construction activities along the pipeline corridor within the assigned region.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and HSEQ policies to support safe, reliable, and uninterrupted pipeline operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and site visits to the Right of Way (ROW), Mainline Valve (MLV) stations, valve assemblies, and Cathodic Protection (CP) stations, and prepare inspection reports.
• Oversee the maintenance of valve assemblies, ROW, and associated civil infrastructure to ensure operational integrity.
• Review and interpret pipeline civil drawings and prepare or update drafts using AutoCAD.
• Maintain readiness of tools, equipment, and materials required for routine maintenance and emergency response activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including Irrigation and Highway Departments, to safeguard pipeline assets and facilitate maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely resolution and closure of observations identified during internal and external audits.
• Promote and implement HSEQ management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, across all maintenance activities.
• Respond effectively to emergency maintenance situations and provide field support to minimise operational disruptions.
• Prepare accurate field reports, maintenance records, and documentation related to civil works.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications And Competencies

• Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Technology.
• Up to 12 years of relevant experience in civil repair and maintenance in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven ability to work independently under the guidance of a pipeline civil engineer.
• Hands-on knowledge of fieldwork practices, emergency response protocols, and civil infrastructure maintenance.
• Certified in or proficient with AutoCAD software for preparing and interpreting pipeline civil drawings.
