Position Overview

As a Pricing Desk Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting Sales through the management of special pricing programs, including Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs), Opportunity Support Requests (OSRs), Deal Registrations (DRs), Big Deals, and customer-specific pricing initiatives. You will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, vendors, and distributor partners to secure competitive pricing, maximize program utilization, and ensure compliance with manufacturer and internal pricing requirements.

What You Will Do As The Pricing Desk Specialist

Employees in this role are expected to exercise sound judgment, analytical thinking, and decision-making while supporting revenue growth and pricing competitiveness.

• Manage and process special pricing requests, including SPAs, OSRs, DRs, Big Deals, and volume opportunities.
• Provide pricing guidance and consultative support to Sales teams on available pricing programs and discount structures.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, vendors, and distributors to obtain front-end discounts and special pricing approvals.
• Review opportunities for volume pricing, strategic account growth, whitespace expansion, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Ensure pricing requests meet documentation and compliance requirements, including customer alignment, deal registration validation, and SKU accuracy.
• Create, maintain, and track pricing program records and support documentation.
• Support Sales with pricing strategies that improve competitiveness and increase win rates.
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders regarding request status, eligibility, and approvals.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Team

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, Sourcing, Purchasing, or a related function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Specially Excel, Powerpoint.
• Experience with ERP, CE, and pricing management systems preferred.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Purchasing, and vendor organizations.
