Our client Roots International Schools is looking for a Principal in Sialkot

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and academic programs.
  • Ensure teaching quality, student performance, and alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Promote innovative teaching practices, technology integration, and a continuous learning culture.
  • Monitor academic results and implement improvement strategies.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise faculty and administrative staff.
  • Set performance standards and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Foster professional development and succession planning for staff.
  • Build a collaborative and motivated academic team.
  • Promote holistic student growth in academics, extracurriculars, discipline, and character building.
  • Ensure the implementation of student support systems, counseling, and career guidance.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Oversee school operations including admissions, exams, timetable management, and daily functioning.
  • Manage vendor dealings (books, uniforms, maintenance, etc.) and ensure compliance with safety, repair, and facility standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, SOPs, and procedures for smooth operations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, community, and governing bodies.
  • Represent the institution at internal and external forums.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding school policies, student progress, and institutional goals.
  • Develop and execute the school’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic plan.
  • Ensure compliance with educational boards, accreditation requirements, and government regulations.
  • Drive enrollment growth, branding, and institutional reputation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Education/Management or relevant field.
  • Minimum 8–9 years of academic leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, school operations, and educational regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance academic priorities with operational and financial management.
