Product Accountant

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Product Accountant at its office in Karachi:

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent professional credentials preferred.

The ideal candidate must have a robust background, encompassing up to 8 years of Accounting experience preferably in Oil sector Companies in Pakistan, specifically in the domains of product accounting for Local Crude, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), and Motor Gasoline (MOGAS). The chosen candidate should bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise in utilizing advanced financial tools including Excel and Office, notably SAP HANA and ISOIL and dealing with Customs Authorities.

Responsibilities

• Monthly and yearly Stock and MIS Reporting, preparation of schedules, reconciliations and data analysis
• Stock accounting, reviewing crude shipment reports, liaising effectively with Vendors and OMCs for day-to-day queries.
• Processing of vendors’ invoices within due time.
• Assisting and coordinating with auditors.
• Monthly reporting to the external Regulatory Authorities
• Fortnightly sales Invoicing for HSD/MOGAS for all locations.
• Coordinating with relevant stakeholders for Physical Stock Count Exercise
