Project Manager

Contract type: Full time
About Us
At Bricks Tech, we're redefining how ideas become reality. As a leading AI-first design and development agency, we transform bold visions into fully functional MVPs and custom applications in just 4–8 weeks. Our team, consisting of former startup founders turned expert builders, thrives on speed, quality, and craft. We're not just developers; we're creative problem-solvers who think like entrepreneurs and work to align every project with our clients' goals.
Because we ship fast and ship often, our projects live at the intersection of engineering, design, and AI. We build with modern tools such as no-code/low-code platforms, AI agents and LLM-powered products, and beautifully designed interfaces, and we care as much about how something feels to use as whether it works.
The Role
We're looking for a Project/Product Manager who can own client projects end-to-end and keep several of them moving at once without dropping quality. You'll be the person who turns a client's rough vision into a scoped, sequenced plan, then drives it to launch — coordinating designers, engineers, and the client along the way.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, has a strong sense for good product and good design, and can hold their own in a technical conversation. If you like the pace of an agency and the variety of touching a new problem every few weeks, you'll feel at home here.

If you like the pace of an agency and the variety of touching a new problem every few weeks, you'll feel at home here.
What You'll Do
- Own client projects from kickoff to launch. This includes planning, scoping, sequencing, and driving delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage 3–5 concurrent client builds at different stages, switching context cleanly and keeping every project on track.
- Be the face of the project for the client: run kickoffs, demos, and check-ins; manage expectations; and handle the harder conversations when scope, timelines, or budgets shift.
- Translate client goals into clear scope and requirements, validating technical and design feasibility with the team before committing.
- Partner closely with designers to shape the product experience. This can involve reviewing wireframes and UI/UX flows, giving structured design feedback, and making sure what we build is usable, coherent, and on-brand.
- Coordinate internal resources, designers, engineers, and any third-party vendors for smooth, high-quality execution.
- Build and maintain realistic project plans; track progress and communicate status clearly to clients and leadership.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost, and keep documentation (scope, decisions, open questions) current and useful.
- Anticipate risks early and surface blockers before they become fires; escalate when needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors that lead to repeat work and referrals.
- 3–5 years of project or product management experience, ideally in an agency, startup, or software product environment.
- A track record of shipping. Leading teams of varying sizes and seeing projects through to launch is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication, written and verbal. You can be clear, calm, and credible with both a CEO and an engineer.
- Enough technical literacy to scope work, question estimates, and communicate credibly with engineers and designers. You don't need to code, but you need to speak the language. Familiarity with modern build tools (no-code/low-code platforms like Bubble or n8n, AI/LLM-based products, APIs, and cloud services like AWS) is a strong plus.
- A genuine eye for design and user experience. You can look at a screen or a flow and tell what's working, what's confusing, and what needs another pass. Comfort collaborating in Figma and understanding design systems is a big plus.
- Comfort with the ambiguity of AI products, where outputs are non-deterministic, iteration on prompts and agents is constant, and "done" is fuzzier than in traditional software.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple moving projects at once.
- A bias for action and real ownership. You move things forward without waiting for a perfect process.
- Fluency with modern collaboration and PM tools (e.g. Jira, Linear, Notion, ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, design, or a related field.
- Prior experience at a design or development agency juggling multiple clients.
- Exposure to design tooling or a design/UX background that lets you collaborate deeply with the team.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
- Work on a genuinely varied slate: a new product, industry, and problem every few weeks, from AI agents to consumer apps to internal tools.
- Real ownership and visibility. You run your projects; you're not a cog in a program office.
- A team of ex-founders and builders who value speed, craft, and initiative over bureaucracy.
- A front-row seat to how modern AI-first products get designed, built, and shipped.
