Project Manager - shopdev

Our client shopdev is hiring a Project Manager in Lahore.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Track project progress and proactively address delays, dependencies, and delivery risks.
  
  

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Understand client requirements and translate business needs into clear project deliverables.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely progress updates.
• Manage client expectations and ensure effective communication regarding scope, timelines, risks, and changes.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  
  

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Software Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Business Analysts, DevOps, and other relevant resources.
• Allocate resources effectively based on project requirements and priorities.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance and remove project-related blockers.
• Ensure team members have clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  
  

• Manage projects using Agile/Scrum or other suitable project management methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Maintain project documentation, task boards, sprint plans, and delivery reports.
• Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Continuously improve project delivery processes and methodologies.
  
  

• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans for potential project issues.
• Escalate critical risks and blockers to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper impact assessment before implementation.
• Maintain effective scope and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and defect resolution.
• Monitor project deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria.
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer at project closure.
• Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned for future projects.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Project Management, preferably within a software house, IT services company, or technology environment.
• PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or other relevant project management certification will be an advantage.
