Our client Confidential is looking for a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager in Karachi

Sarhand Packages is seeking a dedicated QA / QC and Compliance Manager with at least eight years of experience to lead the quality assurance, quality control, and compliance functions within corrugated carton manufacturing operations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of carton quality parameters such as GSM, BF, ECT, Burst Strength, Cobb Test, and Compression Test, along with a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 standards. The manager will oversee a team of five professionals and ensure that all processes meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards.

The Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the companys Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will lead audit management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent deviations and ensure consistent product quality. This position demands a proactive leader who can coordinate cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement and uphold documentation and record control standards aligned with industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of five quality assurance and compliance professionals to ensure effective implementation of QA/QC processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze quality parameters specific to corrugated carton manufacturing, including GSM, BF, ECT, Burst Strength, Cobb Test, and Compression Test.
• Oversee and execute audit programs, including internal and external audits, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols.
• Manage and coordinate corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrences.
• Control and maintain thorough documentation and records related to quality management and compliance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize quality risks within manufacturing operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements and continuously monitor industry standards and changes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements and resolve non-conformances efficiently.
• Train and mentor team members on quality standards, audit procedures, and compliance expectations to enhance team capabilities.
• Lead root cause analysis and investigation of quality incidents to develop actionable recommendations for process improvement.
• Report on key quality metrics and compliance status to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
• Maintain Quality Management System certifications and support certification audits and renewals.
