About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure our applications meet functional and quality standards through effective testing practices.

This internship offers hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing, with the opportunity for a full-time role based on performance.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand business and technical requirements.
• Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality against requirements.
• Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for various applications and features.
• Participate in functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Support automation testing initiatives by learning and contributing to automated test scripts under guidance from team members.
• Document testing activities, results, and best practices to maintain quality standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts, methodologies, and defect life cycle.
• Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Software Quality Assurance.
