Key Responsibilities
Preparation of bids and proposals; estimating quantities from drawings, acquiring rates considering the specifications, and timely submission of competitive bids/proposals
Preparation of invoices/bills; surveying the construction site for quantities of executed work, billing them according to the agreed-upon rates and defending it in front of Client/Consultant/Audits, etc.
Preparation of Bills of Quantities
Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules
Preparing and defending Rate Analysis for Additional Items on running projects
Reviewing and verifying Subcontractor’s bills
Supporting the Engineers with documentation and estimation
Key Skills
Numeracy
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use specialist software
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
The ability to work in a team
The ability to negotiate
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
