Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer – React and .NET

Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Timings: 10am-7pm

Work Mode: Full Time, Onsite

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer to work on a long-term project for a German client serving the restaurant and retail sectors.The project involves building a browser-based Point-of-Sale system from scratch. The first phase will focus on developing a stable POS application, followed by a Backoffice/Admin Portal and, later, inventory management and ERP functionality. The selected developer will work closely with the client and a Senior Technical Lead responsible for initial architecture guidance and periodic code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a responsive browser-based POS interface using React.
• Build secure and scalable backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and maintain REST APIs and relational databases.
• Develop modules for products, customers, sales, orders, receipts, users, roles, and permissions.
• Implement cloud synchronization, reporting, and administrative functionality.
• Integrate payment terminals, payment providers, webshops, online ordering systems, and food-delivery platforms.
• Work with the Senior Technical Lead to establish the technology stack and scalable system architecture.
• Write clean, modular, stable, testable, and well-documented code.
• Perform testing, debugging, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain source code through GitHub and manage tasks through Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Communicate progress, technical issues, and requirements clearly in writing.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
• Practical experience with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience using Git and modern source-control workflows.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned modules, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Good written English communication skills.
• Availability to work full-time during Central European business hours.
  
  

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage but is not mandatory:

• POS or cash-register systems
• Payment terminals and payment-provider integrations
• Restaurant, retail, fiscal, inventory, or ERP software
• Offline-first or Progressive Web Applications
• Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
