Earth Supermarket is looking for a qualified and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the comprehensive IT operations that support its dynamic retail supermarket environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and has achieved relevant Microsoft certifications. With a minimum of five years of experience in retail supermarket IT management, they possess strong expertise in cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, ERP, and e-commerce platforms. This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain and advance the IT infrastructure, integrating various technologies to support and enhance retail business operations.

The IT Manager leads a dedicated team of five IT professionals, coordinating all aspects of IT infrastructure, system integration, cybersecurity, and software development projects. This includes managing cloud services, overseeing data security and backup strategies, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and fostering smooth business operations through effective management of ERP and POS systems. The role demands excellent project management, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills to successfully implement IT initiatives and provide critical technical support across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT team of five professionals to ensure timely and efficient delivery of IT services and projects.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize the companys IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and hardware components.
• Oversee cloud services across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to support business needs and ensure scalability.
• Develop and implement comprehensive data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard company information assets.
• Manage ERP, POS, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration and smooth operations aligned with retail business objectives.
• Lead software development and system integration efforts using programming languages and technologies such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, and PHP.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance by establishing policies, monitoring system vulnerabilities, and mitigating risks across all IT systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the IT support team, fostering skill development and effective problem resolution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption to enhance business efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors and service providers to procure IT solutions, negotiate contracts, and oversee service levels.
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity and infrastructure availability for all retail locations.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in retail digital solutions, online payment gateways, and cloud computing advancements and apply this knowledge in everyday IT management.
• Prepare and manage IT budgets, forecast technology investments, and control operational costs while delivering high-quality services.
• Ensure proper documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and project plans to support ongoing operations and audits.
