Chaman Ice Cream is seeking a dedicated Shop Floor Manager to oversee daily operations on the shop floor and effectively manage a team of 10+ personnel. The ideal candidate will take charge of supervising team activities, ensuring smooth inventory flow, managing cash procedures, and supporting end-of-day operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain high standards in customer service, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy. A willingness to learn on the job is essential for success in this position. In this managerial role, you will be responsible for managing shift activities, oversee balancing tills and cash drawers, conducting variance investigations, and preparing detailed shift settlement reports. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining a productive and positive work environment, while adhering strictly to company policies and cash handling protocols. You will work closely with team members to monitor performance and provide guidance to meet operational goals for Chaman Ice Cream's shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 10 staff members to ensure efficient shop floor operations and exceptional customer service.
• Manage inventory control processes to guarantee availability and proper stock levels on the shop floor.
• Oversee cash handling activities including Point-of-Sale (POS) operations, till balancing, and cash drawer management.
• Perform end-of-day register closeout procedures accurately and timely to reconcile cash and sales.
• Investigate and resolve any variances or discrepancies in cash drawer balances to maintain financial integrity.
• Prepare detailed shift settlement reports to provide clear and accurate documentation of sales and cash flow.
• Support team training and development to build a competent and motivated workforce.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures on the shop floor.
• Coordinate shift schedules and delegate tasks to optimize productivity and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
