Advisory Corp is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing comprehensive accounting activities, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and taxation support. This position requires a qualified professional with credentials such as CAF, B.Com, MBA Finance, or an equivalent degree and 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy in daily, weekly, and monthly closing processes and the application of IFRS standards to maintain the highest level of financial integrity.

The Accountant/Senior Accountant does not manage a team but works collaboratively within the finance department to support cash flow reporting and taxation matters. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role, along with the ability to handle various accounting functions independently. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform bookkeeping duties including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts on a timely basis.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly closing activities to ensure all financial information is accurate and up to date.
• Analyze and report daily cash flows to assist management in making informed financial decisions.
• Support taxation processes by preparing relevant documentation and coordinating with tax authorities as required.
• Apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to financial statements and reporting activities accurately.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, ledger accounts, and other financial data to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for budget planning and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory compliance within all accounting operations.
• Assist in audits and provide required documentation and explanations to auditors when necessary.
• Identify areas for process improvement in accounting systems and suggest effective solutions.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and uphold ethical standards in all financial practices.
