Nzee Foods and Beverages is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, tax preparation, and compliance. The ideal candidate holds an MBA, BBA, BS Accounting, or a related commerce qualification, and has at least three years of professional experience. This role focuses on managing general ledger accounting, preparing accurate financial documents, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.
• Oversee general ledger accounting and post journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing financial data and providing relevant insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns and coordinating IRS submissions.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit activities.
• Conduct credit analysis and manage credit and collections to minimize financial risks.
• Prepare and review financial documentation for audit purposes, liaising with internal and external auditors as necessary.
• Support the preparation of tax return documentation and ensure all filings meet legal deadlines and standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation of financial procedures and transactions for transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable to monitor cash flow and outstanding balances.
• Monitor general ledger transactions for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies through thorough investigations.
