As a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will own the books for a portfolio of US-based clients, keeping financials clean, current, and audit-ready. This is a client-facing role in which you will work directly with business owners and their teams.

About The Role
As a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will own the books for a portfolio of US-based clients, keeping financials clean, current, and audit-ready. This is a client-facing role in which you will work directly with business owners and their teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including transaction categorization and bank and credit card reconciliation
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for multiple clients
- Complete month-end close and prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Liaise with clients to resolve coding questions and gather missing information
- Support CPA and tax preparation teams at year-end with clean books and schedules
- Proactively identify and flag anomalies and communicate them without being asked
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi-client or accounting firm environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO); QBO certification is a plus
- Solid understanding of accrual-basis and cash-basis accounting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients
- Clear written and verbal English communication for regular client interaction
- Experience with US-based clients or in a BPO/outsourcing accounting firm
- Familiarity with Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, or Rippling
- Exposure to nonprofits or PE/VC-backed companies
