Senior Design Engineer (RF/Microwave)

Key Responsibilities
- Development and validation of RF/Microwave circuits
- Detailed design of systems and sub-circuits such as: Transmitters, Receivers, Amplifiers, Filters, multiplexers
- Efficient integration of RF circuitry into mechanical enclosures
- Design and evaluation of product prototypes and engineering samples
- Development of test methods and systems
- Documentation of test results, writing reports
- Supporting the transition from prototype designs into production
- Product cost awareness
- Interaction with vendors and customers where appropriate
- Continuous search for new RF solutions and technologies
- Leading role as team lead and training of new team members
- Minimum Degree in Electronics Engineering with emphasis on RF/Microwave circuit design (MS will be an added advantage)
- At least 5+ years of work experience in the field of RF/Microwave product development
- Candidates with higher experience can also apply and will be considered accordingly
- Experience with RF/microwave circuit design
- Experience with RF integrated PCB design and CAD tools
- An organized, detail-oriented, and methodical work approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with 3D EM simulators
- Experience with 3D CAD tools
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability
- Knowledge of Technical Documentation of systems
- Work experience with communication systems will be an added advantage
