Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including writing captions, designing graphics, and selecting multimedia assets.
  • Schedule and publish social media posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to inquiries and comments in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion) and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design) to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing strategies and brand messaging.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Passion for social media and familiarity with major social media platforms and their features.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and compelling social media content.
  • Basic design skills and proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with social media management, digital marketing, or related internships is preferred but not required.
