Our client Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a Senior Finance and Operations Manager (NGO Sector) in Karachi

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Finance & Operations to oversee the financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and operational management of donor-funded projects. This role focuses heavily on ensuring compliance with internal policies and donor requirements while driving operational excellence within the organization. The ideal candidate leads a small but focused team and collaborates across departments to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.

The Senior Manager manages a team of one person and plays a critical role in streamlining financial and operational strategies to support sustainable growth and compliance. This role demands a professional with 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in the NGO or development sector, and capable of managing cross-functional leadership, risk management, and financial reporting. Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary to represent the companys financial interests and operational goals effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for donor-funded projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and analysis to provide accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders and donors.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Maintain operational excellence by streamlining processes and improving financial controls for enhanced accountability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor regulations, audit standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies across departments.
  • Manage a team of one person, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor project expenditures against budgets to ensure funds are utilized effectively and within guidelines.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required documentation.
  • Drive operational improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of financial and administrative functions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish strong communication channels with donors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve financial and operational issues promptly.
