The Department of Surgery, Aga Khan University is seeking a Senior Instructor (Research) to join our academic team in Karachi, Pakistan.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact surgical research by collaborating with faculty, residents, and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen research capacity, improve patient outcomes, and support academic excellence.

Support the design, execution, and publication of surgical research projects

Provide expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and data analysis

Mentor faculty and residents in research methodology and scientific writing

Coordinate research approvals and maintain departmental research registries

Conduct research workshops and promote a culture of research excellence

Contribute to departmental goals in publications and grant acquisition

MBBS with an MPhil or Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology & Biostatistics (FCPS or PhD preferred)

Strong knowledge of research methodology and statistical analysis

Experience in scientific writing and publication

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
