Job Summary

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for Pakistan to design, develop, deploy, and operationalize machine learning solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, and related Microsoft Data & AI technologies.

The role will support technical implementation across data ingestion, data preparation, model development, model deployment, monitoring, and optimization, transforming structured and unstructured enterprise data into scalable AI and predictive analytics solutions.

The position will support model performance, governance, operational readiness, and business value realization across client engagements.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or AI Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Proven experience building, tuning, deploying, and monitoring production-grade machine learning solutions.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience implementing data quality, feature engineering, and data preparation frameworks.
• Experience deploying models through APIs and batch-scoring architectures.
• Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Preparation

• Build secure connectivity to on-premises databases and file repositories.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and maintain raw, staging, and curated data layers.
• Implement ingestion of structured and unstructured datasets.
• Support OCR and text extraction workflows where required.
• Implement monitoring, logging, exception handling, and pipeline performance optimization.
• Perform data cleansing, normalization, standardization, enrichment, and de-duplication.
• Create and maintain curated gold datasets for AI and analytics consumption.
  
  

Machine Learning Development

• Define ML problem statements and translate business objectives into model requirements.
• Develop feature engineering pipelines and model training workflows.
• Train, benchmark, validate, and optimize machine learning models.
• Evaluate model performance against agreed KPIs and business outcomes.
  
  

MLOps

• Deploy models into production or operational environments.
• Build monitoring frameworks for model performance, data drift, and operational issues.
• Establish retraining schedules and model lifecycle management processes.
• Support production readiness, documentation, and handover activities.
  
  

Data Science

• Conduct statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis.
• Develop predictive modelling approaches and model evaluation frameworks.
• Support KPI-driven model validation and insight generation.
