Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator
digital.enterprises
Own the secure, certified Microsoft foundation that powers digital.enterprises — and the energy-sector suppliers who will run on ADAPT.
digital.enterprises is shaping the future of the energy sector. We help companies run smarter — integrating people, data, and technology to create intelligent, adaptive, and human-centred operations. Based in Doha, the LNG and GTL capital of the world, we fuse deep industry expertise with cutting-edge digital thinking to transform how energy companies work, connect, and grow.
This role is not about building our ADAPT platform — it is about building and running the certified, compliant Microsoft foundation beneath everything we do. You will be the professional, enterprise-grade administrator of our own Microsoft environment: the person who keeps our identity, productivity, security and compliance estate clean, current and audit-ready, to Microsoft best practice.
Your first mission is concrete. You will lead the consolidation of our multiple tenant Microsoft 365 estate into a single enterprise tenant, with minimal or no disruption to the business and with our Microsoft partner standing fully preserved.
From there, the role grows outward to our customers. As ADAPT connects the energy sector's Maintenance, Repair & Operations ecosystem, many suppliers on the sell-side will need help becoming digitally ready so they can transact in real time on the platform. You will help lead that enablement — bringing suppliers onto a modern, secure Microsoft footing so they can operate on ADAPT with confidence.
- Plan and execute the tenant-to-tenant migration of mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups into a single enterprise tenant, with clear migration waves, runbooks, rollback plans and cut-over procedures.
- Consolidate identity in Microsoft Entra ID, applying Conditional Access, MFA and least-privilege access throughout, and managing the domain cut-over cleanly.
- Ensure our CSP / ISV / Reseller standing and subsidised licensing are preserved and correctly applied to the new tenant, working directly with Microsoft Partner support.
- Keep the business informed with clear status updates, risk assessments and stage-gate sign-offs for leadership.
- Administer the consolidated Microsoft 365 estate to Microsoft best practice across tenant, identity, endpoints, security (Defender) and compliance (Purview).
- Design and maintain segregated access across our ventures and joint ventures — a shared common layer, with each entity in its own bubble, so data is not visible across boundaries.
- Own licensing hygiene, cost control and renewals, and keep the estate continuously audit-ready.
- Help ADAPT's sell-side suppliers get digitally ready — assessing their environment, closing gaps, and onboarding them onto secure, modern Microsoft foundations.
- Translate enterprise-grade practice into practical enablement for suppliers of varying digital maturity, so they can move to real-time operations on ADAPT.
- 7+ years administering Microsoft infrastructure and cloud environments, with 5+ years deep in Microsoft 365.
- Proven, hands-on experience leading Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration and consolidation — completing them, not just planning them.
- Strong Microsoft Entra ID capability (identity, Conditional Access, MFA) and solid Microsoft 365 security and compliance (Defender, Purview).
- Practical experience possibly with most of the enterprise migration tools like — Quest, BitTitan, ShareGate, AvePoint, Microsoft Migration Manager, CloudM — and comfort with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API including Automation of migration and validation activities.
- A clear communicator, equally at home delivering an executive update and running a hands-on cut-over.
Required:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert — MS-102
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate — SC-300
Desirable:
- Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate — SC-401
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate — AZ-104
We weigh demonstrated, completed migration experience as highly as certificates. Microsoft Partner Center / CSP administration experience is a strong plus. (Dynamics 365 Business Central — MB-800 — relates to a separate, later ERP initiative and is not required for this role).
- Experience in the energy sector or another regulated industry (financial services, government).
- Microsoft Partner Center / CSP indirect-reseller administration experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft FastTrack methodology and Zero Trust principles.
- A single, clean, secure enterprise tenant — migration completed with minimal disruption and our partner standing intact.
- An estate that runs to Microsoft best practice and stays audit-ready, with clear segregation across ventures.
- Suppliers onboarded and digitally enabled, transacting in real time on ADAPT.
- Build and own the certified Microsoft backbone beneath a first-of-its-kind national digital platform.
- Work directly with senior leadership on a $1B+ ambition.
- Grow from internal foundation into customer-facing enablement at national scale.
Permanent. Onsite in Karachi. Travel to Doha may be required for major migration events and stakeholder workshops.
