  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Flask.
  • Build robust API architectures that support high-performance, secure, and maintainable applications.
  • Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.
  • Write hand-crafted, optimized SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and business insights.
  • Analyze and improve database performance through indexing, query optimization, and tuning.
  • Implement backend business logic, validations, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure smooth React.js integration.
  • Support frontend teams by enabling efficient data flows for dashboards and UI components.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best engineering practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, builds, and deployments.
  • Use Git effectively for version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development.
  • Ensure backend services meet reliability, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Assist in architectural decisions related to backend systems and full-stack workflows.
  • Monitor application performance and support production deployments and post-release fixes.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Flask, and REST API design.
  • Advanced understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience working in production-grade backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of React.js integration patterns (backend-driven).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
