Software Engineer - I/II (Rails)

As a Software Engineer (Rails) at Staunch, you will be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions that meet client needs and business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Strong familiarity with MVC architecture and experience building web applications using Rails.
• Good understanding of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) and RESTful API design.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and tested code following best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and grow within the team.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, participate in code reviews, and communicate effectively.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Passion for delivering high-quality software and commitment to continuous improvement.
