The Division:
Outdoor Power Equipment - OPE is a group within Constellation Dealership. It is recognized as the leader in business management software for Outdoor Power Equipment dealers. Constellation Dealership provides a suite of market leading Software products designed specifically for dealerships. Over 2,000 dealerships across North America, United Kingdom, Ireland and Africa, rely on one our products to make their dealership more successful. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. Constellation Software is a leading provider of software and services to a select group of public and private sector markets. Constellation manages and builds industry-specific software businesses which provide specialized, mission-critical software solutions that address the needs of our customers.

The Position:
We are looking to hire Interns/FreshGrads to be members of QA teams, executing tasks as part of the test plans for software development. Contribute to QA activities throughout the entire life cycle of the development process, ensuring an understanding of which tasks are needed to support the development team in the production of new features and resolution of defects so that software is delivered to a high level of quality. Contribute to the development of methodologies in relation to quality assurance and follow these methodologies when executing tasks.

The selected SQA Trainee would progress from training to apprenticeship, to potentially a full-time permanent employment role in the Contour Software Lahore office.

Key Activities:

• Learn and apply software testing methodologies, quality standards, and best practices.

• Contribute to test planning, risk analysis, and test design activities.

• Design and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and cross-browser tests.

• Learn and develop automated tests using Playwright.

• Utilize AI tools to accelerate learning, test design, test automation, defect analysis, and documentation.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to resolve quality issues.

• Continuously improve testing, automation, and AI-assisted quality engineering skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.

• New/Recent/Soon to Graduate Computer Science & Software Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Good understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Good understanding of SQL & Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, Python, or C++.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail & communication skills.

• Willingness to learn and leverage AI tools for software testing and automation.

Nice To Have

• Exposure to Playwright or other test automation frameworks.

• Exposure to API testing tools and concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity or software development workflows
