The Division

The Position

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to maintain our financial records.

Staff Accountant job duties include working closely with the existing team to create and analyze financial reports, involved in month-end process and able to perform reconciliations and journal entries. Our ideal candidate holds an Accounting degree and is familiar with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) accounting software. Ultimately, the responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process within F&O
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements related to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting within deadlines and with high attention to accuracy
• Bank reconciliation preparation and adjustments
• Maintaining prepaids expense schedule and posting related journal entries
• Reconcile the AP and AR Subledgers to the General Ledger
• Updating and posting monthly/quarterly expense and income accruals
• Maintaining Fixed assets and Lease schedules and posting monthly journal entries.
• Preparing and calculating monthly sales commissions accruals and the payouts
• Resolve inter-company variances
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related supports and reports
• Assistance with preparation of variance analysis and commentary monthly
• Assist with quarterly disclosure reporting and templates
• Generates and maintains complete records of all financial transactions in accordance to IFRS and in time to meet internal and external timelines
• Implement process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Shift timings 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Onsite role)
• Finalist / Part Qualified Professional Accountant or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or business administration
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, using excel VLOOKUP and pivot tables in data analysis
• Strong understanding and utilization of AI tools, particularly Claude and Microsoft Copilot
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
