Our client Accounti Pro is looking for a Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting & Reconciliation in Karachi

Accounti Pro is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in financial accounting and a strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. This role requires managing general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and performing reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. The candidate will also provide support during audits and utilize financial reporting software such as QuickBooks to prepare financial statements. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze financial data using pivot tables and other Excel functions are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries to ensure financial records are current and complete.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to support timely payments and collections.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate financial reports using software tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle to aid in business decision-making.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, to analyze financial data and identify trends or variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and clarifying accounting records.
• Monitor accounts receivable to ensure prompt collection and reduce outstanding balances.
• Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies in all financial transactions.
• Continuously update knowledge of accounting software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
